Hello

I cannot adjust the Greek subs on the WD TV LIVE. I had made the conversion from ASNI to UTF-8 but it still get the symbols instend the subtitles.

Any suggestions?

There is a subtitle encoding setting in the options that you can change to improve compatibility with Greek.

You mean the “Additional encoding support” option on the System settings? I have try both settings, Greek(Windows-1253) and the Greek(ISO) but without any success. Still I get the symbols.

Can you upload a sample subtitle file somewhere so that I can try it? The Greek subtitles I’ve tested with appear to render correctly.

You can try to download any ASNI Greek subtitle. I usually download the Greek subs from the http://www.subs4free.com/

FYI I have already update the WD device with the latest firmware.

That’s not going to help unless Guy can see the subtitles YOU are trying to use.

Just pick a file and upload it to somewhere like Sendspace.

i have already covert the subs from ANSI to UTF-8. which option should i use the Greek ISO ot the greek windows 1253?
