My drive 1 went red, sent to WD. After reinserting drive 1, (after re-configuration), drive 2 goes red. When drive 2 comes back & is reconfigured and installed drive 1 goes red.

Another issue is sometimes the front panel G is white, but the internal drives have NO color.
