I have just trying to sort out all my data during the lockdown with plenty of time on hand. I have a WD My Book DUO with 4TB which I used about six months ago to back up data. Both of my laptops failed to read the DUO contents but the USB i.d. the DUO and WD discovery recognises the DUO existence on the laptops. After some research on the net, it would appear it is a common problem.
I am more than happy to reform the disks once I have off loaded my data and use the WD 2TB NAS drives for something else such as NVR.
Any comments or suggestion would be very much appreciated.
