G-SPEED Studio - Red light and Beeping

I have a G-SPEED Studio 16 TB and for the last two days, the illuminated G on the front of it turns red after a while, then starts to beep three times in a row for shorts burst (repetitively).

Can someone help me by letting me know what is wrong?

Open the Software Utility and it will likely tell you on the dashboard why that is occurring. From what you are explaining it could be do thermal issues, the drive might be slightly overheating.

You can check to make sure there is adequate air flow and the drive is placed in an area with cooling. Also check the fans on the rear of the unit to make sure it might not be dusty or dirty.
