I have a G-Speed Studio R thunderbolt device connected to my new 16" MacBook Pro. Every time the MBP goes to sleep, the thunderbolt connection disconnects and won’t reconnect on wake up. Is there a way to keep the connection alive while the MBP is sleeping? the only way to reconnect it is eaither reboot or unpug/replug the device back in. Its connected directly to the TB3 port on the MBP.
I have the Energy Saver setting for put hard disks to sleep tuned off, prevent computer from sleeping turned on, and power nap turned on.
