My Drive does not mount all the time - and when it does some folders content don’t appear to be accesible or invisible. How could I rescue data from this situation? Is there a software that can help?

If the drive is mounting but it shows empty then it would be related to corruption most likely. You can use software to try and remedy that. If you are on a Mac then you can use something like Disk Warrior to attempt to rebuild the drive. There is also data recovery software such as Data Rescue.
