G-Speed Drives from Studio XL to Shuttle XL

Hello,
Our G-Speed Studio XL Thunderbolt 2 48TB controller [chasis] has failed. The drives are all OK.
Since the warranty is over we cannot get it repaired or replaced.
We are looking into ways to access our highly priceless media and files.
Our system is directly connected to a 2013 Mac Pro with Thunderbolt 2 cable.
Is it possible to buy the new G-Speed Shuttle XL [with Thunderbolt 3] and insert our old drives [configured in RAID5] into the new chasis and gain access to all our old files?
Does anyone have any real experience with this?
Any information might help us. Thank you all.

Did you ever solve this problem? Interested to see how things turned out.

Hey there,
It worked!
We bought a brand new G-Speed Shuttle XL with TB3 and connected it via Apple’s TB adaptor to our 2013 MacPro. We replaced the new drives with the old drives and everything worked. We copied all the media off. Then we put back the new drives and copied everything back. All is OK.
Now we have 8 drives spare and an old our of order G-Speed Studio XL chasis.
We think the chasis malfunction came after a blackout in our studio.
Hope this helps! We were under much stress until we managed to do this and see all our files again.
