I have a G-RAID Thunderbolt 2 (8TB) HD and want to switch it from my mac to a new Dell laptop. I have had to get a connection that goes from Thunderbolt 2 to 3, and the device was recognized and does show up under Devices. However, I cannot get the computer to recognize the HD in order to use it. I’m assuming because it was originally connected to MAC…is there a way to change to the new OS and not reformat the HD whereupon I’d lose tens of thousands of photos?
