G-RAID Studio chassis failure/swap

Hi all, I have a G-RAID Studio 6TB 0G03502 chassis 0G03497 with the drives in a JBOD configuration, where the chassis has failed. I have been very disappointed with WD Technical Support who seem to be either AI based and unable to parse basic syntax correctly or simply have an absurdly poor knowledge resource to draw upon.

I have located a G-RAID Studio 6TB 0G03501 chassis 0G03496 for sale, also a G-RAID Studio 8TB (P/N unavailable). Will my drives work in either of these chassis?

Many thanks,

A very disappointed customer who will never buy G-Technology or Western Digital again

Hi @AndrewFl ,

See what I mean? (Apologies for the rudeness)

If your drives are in a JBOD configuration, they should theoretically work in another G-RAID Studio chassis as long as the chassis itself supports JBOD. The key is to ensure the new chassis has the same or a compatible controller. For students who need help articulating technical issues clearly or any other academic writing support, platforms like https://chat.openai.com/g/g-a0ULgFcuZ-essay-helper can be incredibly useful. Hopefully, you’ll find a solution that works for your needs.
