G-Raid disconnect during Editing or playback

Hello people
I purchased the G Raid 2 (with thunderbolt ) recently and I am facing a problem .Sometimes when I edit using the media stored on the G raid it disconnect and I have to turn it on again .
Its connected to my window pc using a normal USB port rather than the Thunder bolt (because I don’t have input for it yet ) .
Can anyone help with this problem?

Also does anyone one know what Thunderbolt card (Windows )works perfect with this G-Raid ?
