G raid 8TB thunderbolt(only) (RAID 0) ejects itself

I have a G raid 8 TB that sometimes ejects itself, tried switching thunderbolt cables ( I also have G drive with thunderbolt only)

G-TECH G-RAID WITH
THUNDERBOLT 8TB-ZML number H8250ZM/A bought at the apple store year 2014.

I have no idea why it ejects itself, but i do not hear a fan running, I assume its not running to hot. When its connected it scores well on blackmagic disk utility or give any problems while testing it with my iMac( model late 2011 i7 3.2) I get no faulty warnings only a sign from my computer that the G-tech disconnected itself. As the drive contains important footage I am right now copying everything to the G drive. How can I check the drive is not overheating? I do not hear a fan. Why is it disconnecting?

If you don’t hear a fan, you can also look through the back and see it spinning if it is. If it is not spinning than that could be an issue with thermal and possibly the reason why it is dropping the connection.

If the drive is within warranty we can offer a replacement unit.

You can check if your drive is still valid and create an RMA for replacement on our site here: RMA
