G-DRIVE mobile USB. Light on but no disk access

As the title says. The LED light on the drive is on, but I cannot access the drive via USB. A change of cable makes no difference. Sometimes if I wiggle the cable I can get access but only as long as I hold the cable tight into the drive. Seems to be to be a mechanical issue with the USB socket on the drive. Can we replace the drive case, as I suspect there is nothing wrong with the HDD contained within.
