I was not able to connect to my MyCloud device, so I restarted the device by removing the power to it.
Now I’m not able to start it up again, the front LED starts by being solid white for about 15-20 seconds before it starts blinking white, and does not move forward.
Anyone has any idea what is wrong? Any way I can resolve this without sending it to service?
I really do not want to loose all the pictures on this drive!
How long have you left it alone while the front LED was blinking white?
Is the My Cloud currently connected to a router and if so what are the back LED indicating?
If the back bottom (Link) LED is off that indicates no network connection, if this is the case check or replace the Ethernet cable, or try a different networking port on the router (or switch/hub), or power cycle the router wait five minutes then power cycle the My Cloud again.
Have you tried a 4 second reset or 40 second system restore?
The problem resolved itself after a while. I left it on for a little while, and it came back up.

after rebooting by pulling power it can take a very long time to recover, minutes to 10’s of hours.
if possible always shutdown form the UI
