Fractional TB iSCSI drives not allowed?

From what I can tell, you can create an iSCSI drive from 1 to 999 GB, then 1,2,3,4,… TB. If you enter 3500 GB and try to create it tells you to use a larger unit size, and if you try to create a 3.5 TB one it says only accepts integer values. I find this a very silly restriction - is there a workaround?

Hi, I do not know if there’s a workaround, however it would be a really good idea to be able to use fractional iSCSI targets on the drives. You can go Here and post it as an idea.

Illuna,

Thanks. I’ve worked with plenty of iScsi implementations had have never seen the INABILITY to create a drive of say 1.5 TB in size. I find it very odd that WD overlooked this.
