Format full capacity a WD30EZRX via USB dock station

Hi There, i cannot get Windows 7 64 bits to read the full capacity of my new 3 TB WD drive. It only reads 746 GB. I have the disc  in  a dock  station and connected to the pc via USB . Any one can help me?
