Forgotten password removal from unlocked hard drive

Hello,

Is there any way to remove the password if I don’t remember it without formatting the drive? I have 1TB drive from which I forgot the password, however, on my laptop I have the WD Discovery installed so when I plug it in it is automatically unlocked.
