Encountered this message on my MyBook Duo today. Never happened before: “# Forbidden
You don’t have permission to access /UI on this server.
Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.”
Tracked it down to using IPv6. The firmware (i…e., Linux installation) is IPv6 aware and happy to accept connections from IPv6, but the hosts-access file is only configured to allow connections from the local IPv4 subnet.
A simple solution is to just type in the URL using the IPv4 address.
