Firmware upgrade for WD3000FYYZ-01UL1 internal drive in XUbuntu

Hi,

I have about 20 above mentioned internal hard drives. Actually there are many more I have. These are connected to Adaptec controller. I was trying to RAID using these and came across problem. On contacting Adaptec, they suggested to optionally uograde firmware of HDD’s as well.

Present HDD firmware version is 01.01K02. Is there a new firmware available for the above mentioned model ? If so, how ti upgrade from XUbuntu ? Please help.
