I have the WD black SN770 500 MB and want to know if it is safe to update this drive with an OS on it.
After update of SN770 I got destroyed my photo files …
png are damaged, gifs get renamed to png (lol)
jpg damaged also
around 1000 files lost
Cant find changelog for firmware I am very curious about that…
not a good sign, scan for malware
