Here’s my update: came five days after the “factory reset” it was still giving that maddening slow blink…

I am not sure why MCH users don’t read the forum for more than a few minutes or use the search function. It is well known that the MCH which uses the same basic firmware as the Duo and Ibi, will not do back to back firmware updates. It will do update from factory to 7.16 then wait 1 week for files to finish indexing and then do the next firmware update.

The process is documented in the OTA update history in the debug_logs.tar.

Thanks to cat0w for the link and good info. Often the MCH will not do back to back OTA firmware updates within hours of each other. There was usually a built in delay period of a few days before the next update even if the next FW was available. The dates below showed that the updates occurred about 7 days apart, even though in the MCH FW Update Instruction page it suggested it could update within a few hours. [image]
