Fast Blinking, Offline

Good afternoon.
I previously purchased a My Cloud Home device.
It worked fine for 2 months.
Yesterday, it suddenly disappeared from the local network and the cloud.
After turning on the device, the indicator light was constantly on.
However, there was no way to access it. I thought that the device was checking the hard disk for errors because it was making “crunching” noises and left it in this state for 24 hours. Nothing changed after that time.

I also checked my router settings. Everything seems to be fine. Moreover, I did not change anything and the device was working fine.

Today I tried resetting the device with a 4 second button hold (didn’t work) and then a 60+ button hold. After that the LED continues to blink fast.

What should I do in this situation?

Normally a MCH owner would download a debug_logs.tar.zip from their MCH to assess its condition before proceeding to reset. Also consider chatting with WD Tech support and/or filing a support ticket.

The debug_logs can sometimes be downloaded by ip address under certain conditions even when the device is not reachable by webapp or local access. Check the Knowledge Base (link above) for details.
