If you advertise a drive to be 320GB, then don’t hog up 300 - 400 MB of my drive with firmware protected software that I can’t remove!!! This was my first WD and I am sure it will be my last! I would recommend that you make a firmware patch that allows end users to delete the software, if they so choose!
I love the drive except that. so i vote too for a new firmware update that eliminate the locked partition.
they need to unlock this.
