Failure to upload files with missing MSVCR100.dll error

I suspect a windows 10 update has created the error message MSVCR100.dll and MSVCR100.dll are missing (when they aren’t) as I attempt to upload files.

I have tried reinstalling C++ and running SFC…still no joy.

Any suggestions?

Have you tried removing the file and adding that again to the specific folder?

The trick…eventually found was to copy the files from the windows 10 backup folder to the windows 10 installation folder and not /system32
