Failure to upgrade WD software

I have just attached A WD My Book for Mac 2TB to my iMac OSX 10.9.4 and installed WD Drive Utilities v1.1.6.1 and WD Security v1.0.7.1.

When I run WD Security  it says that v.2.0.0.26 is available for update so I update the software but then the new image cannot be run as it is “damaged or incomplete”

When I run WD Drive Utilities it says that v.2.0.0.18 is available for update so I update the software but then the new image cannot be run as it is “damaged or incomplete”

Should I just trash this software?

Hello,

Uninstall the software from the computer, restart the computer and then download the latest version and try to install it.
