Has there been any progress made on this (beyond shutting it off in Facebook)?

Here are some Instructions that may fix this. 

  • Make sure ‘Secure Browsing’ is disabled on your facebook page.  To do this, go to Account Settings >> Security >> Secure Browsing and make sure that the box is not checked. 
  • Go to your Streaming Media Player, sign in to your facebook page, and your photos should be visible.

“Secure Browsing” is exactly what we’re not wanting to turn off. We do not want to turn off secure browsing in facebook and your solution is… to turn it off…!!!
