Hi there.
I’ve been putting up with this issue for a while now and I’m wondering if there is finally a way of resolving this.
Basically I am changing the USB external drive each day to a new device. I have created a share called MYUSB which is fine and works. However when I disconnect the USB external drive and put a new one in, I will still get a share, but this time it will be called MYUSB_2 or MYUSB_6 (or any other number for that matter) so every single day I have to go into the UI and rename the share again.
I’m quite happy making changes with SSH/nano if there’s a way I can get this to be static each time. I’d just like to be able to swap the device without having to make software changes each time.
Is this possible? Is there a way I can mount the external USB drive always as /shares/MYUSB/ ?
