Does anyone know what I can use to access the WD Passport external 1tb HD. I have removed the HD from the case but need to know if there is an adapter that will allow you to connect it to another computer without using the USB connection.
If it’s a drive that came with smartware it’s hardware encrypted and you won;t be able to retrieve data connecting as an internal. I believe Passports have a proprietary connector.
