I have a WD10eads. 1 TB.
its original casing required a power source. Over the years I’ve had to take the actual drive out of its casing with no power source.
I bought a Hard drive docking station. everything is plugged in correctly but my Mac won’t recognize this hard drive. if I plug a smaller hard drive into the docking station (a hard drive from a laptop), my Mac reads it just fine.
I’m essentially trying to recover lost items from this WD drive as it has been reformatted years ago.
anyone have any ideas on how to solve this issue??
