Execute "WD Red SMART load/Unload utility" for every new RED drive or not?

I’ve just bought a new WD RED 6TB drive.
Do I have to run the “WD Red SMART load/Unload utility” ?

The way I understand it is that it must be executed for every WD RED drive.
