EX4100: if the NAS fails can how to access data?

A question: i have a WDmycloud EX4100, it had a little problem but now it works and i have a question: i have 4 disks in raid to save the data in case one disk fails, but what if the NAS fails? can i take out the disks and put them in another nas? or are thay readable from a PC? or how to recover the data?

Hi Bencio,

If the NAS fails then you can simply put the internal hard drive in the new enclosure and everything would be same after RAID roaming. Please refer to the link given below for more information.

As the internal hard drive is in RAID configuration so it would not be readable by the computer.
