Hi.
My first time here and new to nas.
I have an EX4100 with 4 WD Red 6TB. Some time ago I wasn’t using ut so I took one of the disks formated it an used it for a windows PC.
Now I need to use the NAS again so I formated it again to NFTS and put it back in NAS but a red ligt is on the bay and the disk dont show up in the UI.
The disk is fine when I plug it to a windows pc and has no bad sectors.
May be I have to format the disk in other format?

That won’t work because the NAS uses Linux EXT4 partitions and new drives must be configured via the dashboard prior to use.
What is your firmware version?

Disk firmware version is 82.00A82 (as shows Crystal Disk Info).
I instaled WD Dashboard in my PC but the disk shows as “other devices” as if it was some other brand or something and doesn´t let me select the disk
