EX2 uploading photos to a non-public folder?

Hi, I am using the Android WD Photos app. Whenever a photo or video is taken, the app automatically uploads the file to a PUBLIC folder. Is there a way that I can block the PUBLIC folder from being viewed or have the WD Photo app change to another folder. I would like a chance to review these photos prior to sharing with the extended family. Thanks

Hello,

There is no supported way to block the Public folder. Some user have been able to accomplish this using SSH. Please notice this is not supported and may void your warranty.

Thanks Hamlet for confirming what I suspected. It’s a shame WD has not addressed this. Should you or anyone willing to PM instructions for a newbie on how to “SHH” the device, I would greatly appreciate it. Thank you again.
