EX2 Ultra + Wordpress app

Yet again I’m faced with the question of why I bought a WD product.
The promise of being able to install a WordPress site (for development) with a purpose-built WP app on to my NAS seems like a pipedream.
WD staff will point you towards this link: How to install the WordPress App on a My Cloud with firmware 2.30.165 or higher (wd.com)
Yet in reality what that actually offers is nothing more than creating a user on a WP.com hosted platform - So what do you need the app on the NAS for?
Further more when you go to configure the WP app you are faced with this

What makes debarcle even worse is the lack of support from either WD or WP - WD say they dont have support for any 3rd party apps and there is very little or nothing on the WP forums.
So yet again I’m left with a NAS which is really nothing more than an external HDD - so frustrated by WD.
Thoughts and any help would be much appreciated

Hi @Keerti_01
Thanks for the reply, and it just proves my point that WD really dont care about users.
You’ve posted a link to wordpress .com, nothing to do with this particular issue just a home page. - This is websites hosted on WP not My Cloud - Wp.com and WP.org are two different things.
If I was to host a site on My Cloud it would be the WP.org version.

On top of all that, this is the bit that is really pushing my nose out of joint. Neither you (WD) or WP (Automattic) want to take responsibility for the support of this app - So why bother?
