No matter what I do the CPU performance is always pegged at 100%(even without cloud services or media services enabled) and the Transfer speeds never exceed 18MB Even when on Gig connections only. Any advice to make this thing run faster and, or less CPU utilization?

Can you please try a system only reset?
It’s not normal that the unit stays like that all the time.

Well that kinda worked but it is pretty pegged most of the time anyway. Transfer speeds are still abysmal so I finally just ordered a synology which is 40 euro more and am returning this one. 10MB a second after doing everything mentioned on this community is just
