Error Message 1244 when connecting to Private Share on web

Dear Sir,

When I am trying to access my Private share using remote web access, I am getting the system error 1244 - user has not been authenticated.

I have no issue in aceessing Public Share on my WD My Cloud device.

please reply how to resolve this issue.

I tried many browser and the issue is the same. I did google search to find out the solution. To my surprise this issue has been listed in google search, but there is no solution mentioned.

Hello,

When you register an user you get an email to that user’s email so you can authenticate the user. You need to do this in order to avoid this error.
