I recently purchased a WDLive TV media player for my office at work… i have one of these at home, they work great without any issues. The problem im having is the remote behaves erratically - eg, when you press left, it keeps going left until you press another direction, then it keeps moving in that direction. It makes it impossible to control.
Im using the unit at a Hisense XT780 tv… if i turn the HDMI CEC function on, i can control the WDLive TV via the TV remote and it works fine, but some functions are not available - so i have to use the WD remote. I tried testing the WDLive TV unit on another Samsung TV, and it works perfectly.
So the problem is the WDLive TV remote does not work when the unit is running on my Hisense XT780 tv. What can be done to solve this issue?
