Okay peter.g. I have used internet explorer and chrome because Edge won’t
work. When I type in mycloud.com that’s when my problems start. Now, here’s
what I can do, I type in the ip address and I can see the my cloud device.
But when I try to set up WDSync I can’t go any further because it wants me
to sign into mycloud and it refuses to let me in. Sorry for all the
confusion but I am confused.
it looks like it has saved log in info otherwise it should be asking you to sign in by entering your email and password. Try opening a incognito window and go to mycloud.com. See if it will ask you for the email and password there and let you sign in.
Any time you get a “Signing in…” hang message in the web browser first step is to check the Ad Block software, in this case UBlock Origin. Add files.mycloud.com and home.mycloud.com to the UBlock Origin settings whitelist.
