If I buy a diskless EX2 drive kit, keep it empty, didn’t insert hard drive, attach an external storage to the USB port of EX2, and connect it to the router, then will it work? I mean can I access the contents of attached storage and use the full functionality of EX2? Or the functionality will be limited? In another situation if I add one condition with the above setup that there will be no internet connection on my home network, then can I get full functionality or do I need an active internet connection all time, just like pogoplug device?
