I just got a My Passport for Mac and hooked it up to my MacPro running Yosemite and clicked on the encryption and then backed up my computer - the back up took about 8 hours but then the encryption process took 3 days! I don’t need to have my back up encrypted - how can I turn this off so in the future I can avoid the time associated with encryption? Thanks
