Enable OPT1 Raptor 74GB

Should i enable OPT1 in a raptor 74GB ADFD Hard Disk? It will make my system faster or slower? Does it harm the disk?

It won’t hurt the drive to jumper for OPT 1, and if you are still using SATA I, I would recommend doing so.

Note: You only enable for OPT 1 if your system still runs in SATA I.  So, it shouldn’t affect the system at all, since it’s already running at SATA I speeds.
