Empty Recycle Bin after enabling

Question: I’ve been enjoying my WDMyCloudEX2s for some time now, but realized I had neglected to turn on the recycle bin. I’ve now enabled the Recycle Bin on all the shares created on the drives. I can see the \WDMYCLOUDEX2\Recycle Bin - Volume_1 in the share. However if I delete a file, nothing appears in the \WDMYCLOUDEX2\Recycle Bin - Volume_1

I have tried rebooting the drive after the changes were implemented. Am I missing something?

you should delete the trash from dashboard

Thank you Simone_Z. That did the trick.

I thought it might be helpful to point out that emptying the trash (recycle bin) is done though dashboard/settings/services and then scroll to bottom and click ‘CLEAR’ TO EMPTY THE BIN. NOTHING ON THIS MACHINE IS INTUITIVE!
These issues arise so infrequently it is impossible to remember the routines.
Why Can’t WD stick to the well trodden path that Apple and Microsoft use in terms of terminology and paths?
