Email Alerts Question?

WDMyCloud v03.04.01-230 : Core F/W

I have my Firmware Auto Update setting to off and now I ahve noticed that my email alerts are not working any more.

Is this normal when Auto Firmware Update is turned off?

Or how can I fix this and keep Auto Update off.

Ok I figured it out…My email address was missing. So to get it working again all i had to do was reenter my email and send a test to get it working.

Sometimes it is the simple things that make you say huh.
