My WD Elements external 4TB drive has been disconnecting daily for the past few days. On the Mac I get a warning about not ejecting it before disconnecting. But I didn’t disconnect it. Rebooting the drive doesn’t fix it. I have to reboot the entire computer. Is my drive going bad?
Actually, I just checked. The drive is 5 years old, not a couple.
