Dropped the My Book and now the "No writable WD SmartWare partition found" error

Probably the only hope is professional data recovery. The drive is probably physically damaged. If it shows in Disk Management then TestDisk http://www.cgsecurity.org/wiki/TestDisk might fix the partition data but I wouldn’t count on it.
