Ok, so the Livewire Powerline AV Network Kit (WDBABY0000NBK-NESN) looks nice and I’m finding it at good prices, but I really don’t get the need for a 4 port device at the router. Sure, you could use it to exand your router, I guess, but I’d rather buy an inexpensive switch. So why not sell the kit as a single 1-port unit plus a 4 port unit, then sell 1 porters and 4 porters. What I’d really like to buy is that 1/4 kit and then a 1 port unit and I’d be done. If I choose this product, what I buy is overkill, for sure.
Maybe just to simplify things, its easier just to have one model that is interchangeable, but I get what you are saying.
