It was working fine - but the server is now out of support with some Plex Android Clients. Essentially, MCH needs a firmware push, with a new version of the Plex Media Server on it to bring it back to life again.
The last server revision was February 2020.
A little context and fact check may help. On going problem is not isolated to My Cloud Home.
