Ciao a tutti ho appena comprato un WD elements da 16TB nuovissimo !! tutto perfetto!! solo una cosa che mi preoccupa.
A riposo il disco emette ogni 5 secondi circa un leggerissimo tic cosa puo’ essere???
E’ segno di guasti futuri??? E’ solo un rumorino da standby???
Funziona benissimo solo che A RIPOSO solo a riposo emette questo leggerissimo suono…ogni pochi secondi…sempre …
devo preoccuparmi???

Hi everyone, I just purchased a brand new WD Elements 16TB!! all perfect!! just one thing that worries me.
When at rest the disc emits a very slight tic (heartbeat noise) every 5 seconds, what could it be???
Is this a sign of future failures??? Is it just a standby noise???
It works very well except that AT REST only at rest it emits this very light sound… every few seconds… always…
do I have to worry???

Tenga presente che per i dischi da 8TB e su, alcuni rumori sono normali. Prego fare riferimento all’articolo: Rumore del disco rigido Western Digital
Se ha dei dubbi, prego connettere il prodotto con un cavo USB diverso, su diverse porte del computer o anche su altri computer. Prego testare anche: Come verificare se un'unità presenta errori o guasti
