My sister was saving files to the root of the My Cloud Duo instead of a sub folder. She used to login with a laptop that had a domain user as the main user. That domain no longer exists. All of the files she was saving to the root now do not show up at all. I can see them in her recent files but if I click from that link it says file not found, must have been moved or deleted.
Is it possible and if so could this be a permissions issue? I checked and the permissions are set for Everyone. If it is a permissions issue is there a way to connect it directly to a PC to see the files and reset the permissions?
