Do I need a new SATA cable?

I just bought a Caviar Black 750GB, 6gb/s. My board only supports 3gb/s, and I know the drive will work at the slower speed, but can i use a standard SATA cable (ie. the cable from my old drive), or do I need to use a SATA 6gb/s specific cable?
