DLNA, subtitles movies (.srt), Without Plex

I have an old samsung tv which is connected to the local network. It is not smart. It is only DLNA compatible and not possible to install plex.
I use the factory program called AllShare to watch movies. I share the movies from my PC to the TV.

The factory program is OK. The watch movies with subtitles ( .srt).

I would like to buy a My Cloud Home device. I have not any.
My question is:
Is it possible to watch subtitles (.srt) movies through My cloud Home DLNA without plex?

The my cloud home only support PLEX as the media server. You can enable DLNA in PLEX. See the knowledge base article below.
